This magnificent Welsh Cob is 'Jacob', who celebrated his 30th Birthday last year, but sadly is no longer alive. I completed this pastel painting of him from various photographs which I had taken and I hope this painting does justice to a really lovely gentle old horse.

WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE AND I HOPE YOU ENJOY VIEWING MY WORK
I am delighted to have been asked by a gallery in Northumberland to provide them with a portrait for display purposes and shall be working on this over the next couple of months.
I accept commissions for portraits and ideally I like to take my own photographs of the sitter. However, if this is not possible due to distance etc, then I am happy to work from your own photographs providing that they are clear and with as much detail as possible.
If you are interested in commissioning a portrait then please email me for further information at pam@pamstevensonart.co.uk

Graphite sketch - 'Steve'
I've been having a fantastic time making lots of new friends at the folk festivals this summer and doing as much sketching as I can. This one is of a lovely guy called 'Steve', who has a great collection of hats!

PRELIMINARY COLOUR STUDY
This year I am going to work as much as I can with pastels and so this is a quick study of 'Ha', my beautiful Vietnamese friend. I used a combination of soft pastels and coloured pencils.
